Karamba Sports is one of the newer sportsbooks online. It caught our attention because we’ve been hearing a lot of great things about the betting site and wanted to test the brand out for ourselves to see how well it compared to other big-name bookies.
Even though its sportsbook is somewhat new. The company has well over a decade of experience in the online gambling industry and runs a popular iGaming business that includes casino, live casino, and scratch cards offerings.
That said, in terms of Karamba sports betting, the bookie stands out from the crowd due to its many notable features including its great betting app, in-play betting options, its Karamba Cash out feature, and its “fast markets” option, which lets you bet on events as they unfold.

In our opinion, this is a decent welcome offer. Depositing as little as £10 and having this amount matched with a free bet is a nice way to start off betting at Karamba. We received our free bet within a matter of minutes of making our deposit and bet, and found the terms and conditions fair and easy to understand.
Karamba Betting Ongoing Promotions
Karamba promotions for sports bettors include more than a welcome offer. At the writing of this Karamba review, there were two ongoing offers for UK customers.
First up is KaramGUESS? Every Saturday and Sunday, you can opt in to a daily round, make your guess at the four questions, enter your Karamba username, and submit your guess. If you get all 4 questions right, you’ll receive a £20 Risk Free In-Play Bet the week following the round you guessed on. As a heads up, this promotion began at the start of the season and runs until the 26th of May, 2019.
Next is KaramBOOST. This unique offer lets you enjoy winnings up to 77% more on ACCAS with four or more selections, with minimum odds 1/5 (1.2). Essentially, this offer gives you the chance to win additional cash, based on folds. Four folds is the minimum and will award 4% bonus cash, while 15 folds is the max and will award 77% increased winnings. Keep in mind that this offer applies only to ACCA and System Bets and not to bets placed with bonus cash.
You don’t require a Karamba promo code to take part in any of these offers and remember that full terms and conditions apply to each.
Although we have found that other big-name sportsbooks sites have more ongoing offers than Karamba, we were still pleased with the two offers that we did find and believe them to be worth looking into if you’re the type of punter who enjoy a little extra boost from time to time.
In line with other online bookmakers who provide a customized betting facility Karamba online betting offer customers the chance to create their own bet with a feature called Player Props. This feature allows Karamba bettors to bet on the performance in a football match of specific players. Customers can choose from markets designed for players in attack, midfield and defense and the goalkeeper. Player props betting is available for every match in the English Premier League and the big matches in the top divisions in Spain, Germany, and Italy.
Here is the range of betting markets that are available with Player Props for attacking elements of a football match:
- Total shots
- Shots on goal
- Hit the woodwork
- Score with a header
- Score direct from a free kick
- Score from outside the penalty area
- Number of assists
However. Karamba takes things further by providing a customised betting feature for defensive elements of a football match. Here is the range of markets:
- Save a penalty
- Score an own goal
- Number of tackles
There could be some ambiguity in what is a shot and the definition of other aspects of the game covered by Player Props. Each element is described to prevent any disputes when it is not entirely clear if an event has taken place. Karamba refers to official sources when settling bets which should make for clarity. Customers should be aware of the definitions and the specific source of information when betting on individual players to achieve an act in a match.
The thinking behind Player Props is to bet on an individual’s performance rather than the match result. The bet process involves selecting the match, individual player and the bet and stake. Player Props mirrors similar customised betting features with other bookmakers but focuses on a player rather than a team. The specific player might not be on the winning team but still perform well in the betting categories so Player Props enhances the Karamba football betting experience.
Karamba Markets and Betting Options
Karamba Sports boasts about 5,000 betting markets. This is certainly far less than the more than 10,000+ betting markets offered by other popular online bookmaker brands. Still, for being one of the newer sportsbooks on the market, Karamba’s selection is anything but disappointing, especially since its markets cover an array of more than 35 sports.
Browsing the different betting markets and making your selection is made easy with a clear list of the markets offered, which can be found on the left-hand side of the site. You’ll find favourites like football, baseball, golf, boxing, horse racing, chess, darts, rugby, and so on. You’ll even come across surfing, eSports, MMA, Trotting and more. That being said, if you’re an avid greyhound racing bettor, this isn’t the sportsbook for you. The bookmaker has yet to add this sport to its collection.
Lack of greyhound racing aside, you will find a fantastic range of markets for each sport. For instance, Football punters can place bets on everything from the Premier League to India I-League. On the other hand, if you’re into Tennis, you’ll find all the major tournaments as well as matches taking place around the world.
No matter what might interest you, The brand provides a dynamic range of sports, including niche sports for players who are looking for more than Karamba horse racing and football.
Karamba is relatively new to sports betting but caters for the two traditional betting sports in the UK and another sport that has seen a huge growth in betting over the last 15 years. Across the bookmaking industry the following three sports generate the most betting interest and Karamba offer their customers a comprehensive service:
Karamba lists the main betting events of the day in a Featured Links menu and most of the events are related to football. Customers can bet on matches and outright markets for over 200 football leagues around the world which is comparable with the main competitors based in the UK. The English Premier League appears prominently because it is by far the most popular league in any sport across the online bookmaking industry.
For each football fixture the match odds are displayed with a link to the related markets which totals over 130 for matches in the English Premier League. These additional markets appear under the following headings:
- All markets
The three-way match odds have a built in profit margin of 5% which is about average. The more exotice markets such as goal scorers and correct score are priced in line with other firms.
In terms of match markets Karamba does not offer the most comprehensive service but few other bookmakers cover more leagues and Cup competitions. Odds are available for upcoming international tournaments like Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup. The range of countries is impressive and few other bookmakers offer more leagues. Bettors have a good product to enjoy when placing football bets at Karamba.
Horse racing does not appear on the full list of sports but it is a featured link which reflects betting interest in the sport in the UK. Odds are available for all meetings in Britain and Ireland and some international meetings including in South Africa and Germany. Basic details for each horse are displayed. Customers place bets at the current odds which can be compared with the previus odds for each horse or the starting price.
Colour coding for the current odds shows which horses are being backed and shortening in the betting and others that are drifting with bigger odds. Bets can be placed on the unnamed favourite or second favourite. At the time of writing there was no ante post betting for future races which is a negative because the UK established brands offer a decent ante post service.
Tennis appears near the top of the sports menu but no tennis event has a featured link. The two-way match odds are displayed for each match with a link to related markets. For the bigger matches the total is about 40 and few bookmakers offer more. Customers can bet on the match winner, set betting correct score, total games and a handicap and more exotic events in a tennis match. The match winner odds have a built in margin of 5% which is relatively high.
Outright odds are available for upcoming tournaments including the four grand Slam events. Karamba’s tennis service is comprehensive featuring odds for the main tours for men and women and Challenger events which are the second tier of the sport.
Karamba Sports App and Mobile Betting
You can easily access all the great sports betting fun that Karamba has to offers anytime and anywhere due to it offering both a very mobile-friendly instant-play website as well as Karamba Sports mobile apps for iOS and Android.
The Karamba mobile site and betting app feature an attractive platform that is fast responding and very easy to use. Navigation is a breeze, allowing you to easily view all sports markets, bets, features, offers and other services. You also have the option of viewing odds in either fractional or decimal style, which is a nice touch.
At the writing of this review, the Karamba sportsbook app could be downloaded for iPhone via the Apple App Store, which is what we did. The app runs well without bugs and was just as simple to use as the mobile web version. As for Android, a Karamba Sports app was not yet available for direct download from Google Play. However, as the brand’s casino app has recently been added to the Play Store, hopefully this means the sports version will be joining it soon.
Karamba Bookmaker Features
The Karamba Sports Betting site has different features that help to make digital sports betting a little more interesting and exciting, in our opinion.
For starters, as is pretty standard for most of today’s top online UK bookies, Karamba offers live betting. Its In-Play betting covers a variety of local and international markets, such as Football, Basketball, Tennis, Ice Hockey, Volley Ball, Handball, Table Tennis, eSports, etc. Their dedicated In-Play page makes it easy to view all available markets, plus upcoming events. Odds are updated on a regular and reliable basis.
Another great feature is the Karamba Cash Out feature. This special perk isn’t unique to Karamba but it always improves our opinion of the sportsbook we’re reviewing when it is an available option. Essentially, if your bet qualifies for a Karamba Cash Out, you can request a full or partial cash out to claim all or some of you winnings before an event finishes. Cashing out is for both Single and ACCA bets. It’s a great option for a number of reasons, such as if your bet is in profit, and you want to take your money before the selection is settled or if you think your bet is in danger, and you want to secure part of your bet, etc.
Finally, there’s a Fast Markets feature. Karamba Fast Markets let you easily bet on whether you think a certain event with happen within the next 1 or 5 minutes of a live football match. These events include bets on goals, corners, bookings, throw-ins, free kicks, and so on. Fast Markets is also available for Tennis Matches. Placing a fast market bet gives you the chance to win on every minute of a live match. You simply select the live match you want to bet on, choose the Fast market from a list of options, pick your bet, enter your stake on your bet slip and click/tap “place bets.” Easy Peasy!
That said, one downside is that if you like live streaming, you’re out of luck. Karamba Live streaming bets are currently not available, but we’re hopeful that based on the other improvements this bookie has made, this will be added in the future.
Opening an Account with Karamba
Existing customers with Karamba open their account by clicking the LOGIN button on the Home page and then enter a unique combination of a Username and Password. Users then have access to the product range and the options appear under the headings of Casino, Live casino, Scratchcards and Sport. Casino is the first option because Karamba originally only offered casino betting and sports betting has been added relatively recently. Potential new customers click the OPEN ACCOUNT button to begin the registration process. Account and contact details are entered on two screens and there is an option to enter a Bonus Code. Once the required fields have been populated users click OPEN ACCOUNT and a new account is created.
New customers benefit form the welcome offer of £10 in the form of a Free bet Token described in more detail below. There is a prompt to make a quick deposit which is required before betting can begin. The are a number of banking option including debit and credit cards and e-Wallets which are secure and safe. The minimum deposit is £10 but unlike many competitors Karamba charges a 1% transaction fee for deposits. Funds are available immediately so betting can begin.
When odds in a betting market are selected the Betting Slip appears. The default stake is £10 which can be increased or decreased using + and – keys. The default odds format is fractional but this can be changed to decimal. As more selections are added the range of potential bets appears under the headings of Singles, Combo and System. The number of bets, stake and potential return are displayed. When the bet details have been entered customers click the PLACE BETS button. When the bet has been confirmed the account balance is updated. The three basic processes can be completed in a few minutes and the whole operation is quick and easy.
Banking Options and Withdrawal Terms
There are many different Karamba payment methods for both depositing and withdrawing funds. The majority of Karamba deposit methods allow you to make immediate transactions. Examples of available options include: Visa, MasterCard, Softort, Paysafecard, Trustly, Netller, Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap, Instadebit, Wire Transfer, and Entropay.
List of deposit methods: Bank Wire Transfer, ClickandBuy, EcoPayz, Maestro, MasterCard, Neteller, Paysafe Card, Ukash, Visa Electron, Visa, Entropay, iDEAL, Sofortuberwaisung, Nordea, POLi, EPS, Boleto, Ticket Premium, Lobanet, Bancontact/Mister Cash, Fast Bank Transfer, FundSend, Skrill, ewire, Siru Mobile, UseMyFunds, instaDebit, GiroPay, Euteller, Trustly, Hipay
We found that while depositing was a very quick process, the same could not be said for the withdrawal of funds. Karamba withdrawal times can take anywhere from 3 to 8 business days, after the initial up to 48 hour withdrawal request processing time, depending on the withdrawal method used. We found that eWallets (e.g. Skrill, Neteller, etc.) were the fastest, taking 3 days to process, while credit cards and bank transfers took anywhere form 6 – 8 business days. We definitely feel that Karamba could improve on the speed of its withdrawal times.
However, in spite of the long withdrawal times, rest assured that all available banking methods are secure. Also, other notable points worth mentioning on the subject of payments is that the maximum withdrawal is £10,000.
Karamba Security for Bettors
The brand uses the ssl encryption used by many other bookmakers in corporation with the VeriSign security firm. That means it’s impossible steal personal details, personal information or transaction records. The company also stats on her T&C that there is no use of any details for commercial purposes.
Karamba Customer Support
We were impressed with the company’s customer support. They are committed to “’C.A.R.E’ – Customers Are Really Everything!” The agent we spoke to over Karamba live chat was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. You can also reach the staff through email and telephone. Customer service operates 7 days a week from 06:00 GMT to 23:00 GMT.
During hours of operation, you can expect a nearly instant response from live chat and an answer to your email in about two hours or less, on average. Should you need help off hours, we do recommend checking out the FAQ. It’s very detailed and easily answered a question we had about the Cash Out feature.
Karamba Company Details
Karamba was established in 2005 and is owned by ASG Technologies Ltd. It is a part of Aspire Global International, a Malta-based company and huge gambling operator that owns multiple casinos and sportsbooks.
For most of its existence, The Karamba bookmaker has managed to nurture and grow its brand as an online casino, becoming one of the most popular in the industry. Having found success with iGaming, it evolved and Karamba Sports was born.

Karamba Bottom Line
With thousands of betting options over 35 sports, Karamba Sports delivers a solid and eclectic range of sports betting that can easily appeal to both new and seasoned punters. Features like In-Play betting, Fast Markets, and Cash Out, only add to the experience, providing even more betting options and making the action more thrilling.
While the addition of a live sports betting option and greyhound racing as well as faster withdrawal processing times would improve upon what the brand already has to offer, overall, Karamba is a solid betting platform. No matter if you choose online or mobile, it is very responsive and easy to use. Furthermore, the customer service is great and the sign up Free Bet offer is a nice welcome for new players.
As you probably have guessed from our Karamba sports betting review, we greatly enjoyed our experience with this online bookie and highly recommend it to our fellow UK punters. If you’re interested in giving it a go yourself, make sure you take advantage of the Karamba Free Bet Welcome offer here!
