Our Verdict:

The special features this brand has already put in place are very impressive. Its live betting tools are top-notch, and the live streaming options for football and horse racing are excellent. The mobile betting apps are also fantastic, and both these and the desktop site are incredibly easy to use. The prices are also highly competitive, and both the welcome offer and ongoing promotions are definitely respectable.

LiveScore Bet isn’t a perfect bookie, and should definitely add more payment options soon. That said, we were generally extremely impressed with what we found in our LiveScore Bet betting review. Even now, in its current state, this is easily one of the best ‘non-premium’ sportsbooks you can use in the UK.

Strengths:

  • Extremely user-friendly desktop and mobile platforms
  • Nice selection of ongoing promotions
  • Excellent live betting tools
  • Live streaming for football and horse racing
  • Varied range of betting markets and bet types

Weaknesses:

  • Lack of payment options
  • Not the biggest welcome offer around
  • Relatively short track record

Intro

The LiveScore brand is extremely experienced, having been around since 1998. It was previously well-known – as the name suggests – for providing live score updates, but LiveScore decided to get into the sports betting game in 2020. This is a relatively new entry into the UK sportsbook scene, therefore, but with plenty of experience to back it up.

LiveScore Bet is a well-rounded sportsbook, which can be enjoyed on your desktop or via the iOS or Android mobile apps. It holds multiple licences, has security certificates, and has put a clear emphasis on responsible gambling.

Sign Up offer

The LiveScore Bet sign up offer is a classic ‘Bet and Get’ deal, as you’ll find on most UK sportsbooks. In this case, you must bet at least £10, and will receive a £20 free bet in return.
In terms of sheer size, this isn’t the biggest welcome offer around. You can easily find ‘Bet £10, Get £30’ deals from some major bookies, for example. That being said, the value is still fine here. After all, if you only deposit £10, you’re still getting a bonus worth twice that amount.

Notable terms and conditions

  • Must place a qualifying wager, of £10 or more, on any sport
  • Minimum odds of 1/2 (1.50) for the qualifying wager
  • Receive 2 x £10 free bets
  • Free bets valid for seven days

There’s really nothing to catch you out here. We particularly like the lack of restrictions on the markets you can use for the qualifying wager. The bonus being split into two free bets is also helpful, since it basically gives you two shots at making money.

How to claim your welcome bonus

Claiming this deal is extremely straightforward, regardless of your prior experience level. Here’s a quick and easy guide on how to do just that.

  • Head to the LiveScore Bet website or app
  • Create a new account, following the instructions in the next section
  • Make a deposit of at least £10
  • Place an eligible wager of £10 or more, at odds of 1/2 or greater
  • Receive two £10 free bets
  • Use both your free bets on any sports markets you like, within seven days

How to Sign Up to LiveScore Bet

Generally speaking, LiveScore Bet is an extremely user-friendly brand, whether you’re using a computer or mobile device. This applies from the very beginning, with these being the few steps you must take to get started.

  • Head to LiveScore Bet

  • Complete the registration process

  • Fund your account

  • Start betting
With your account funded, you can now begin betting. Head to the sportsbook section, and pick the sport and matchup you’re interested in. Add a selection to your betslip by clicking its odds, then set your stake and place your bet.
Remember that – if you want to claim the welcome bonus – your first bet should be at least £10 in value, with odds of 1/2 or better. In this example, however, we’ve placed a wager for £10 exactly, at odds of 4/6.

Ongoing Promotions

Many British sportsbooks like to reward your loyalty via ongoing promotions. We’re pleased to say LiveScore Bet falls into this category too.
There are five different ongoing LiveScore Bet promotions at the time of writing, which provide you with value in a nice, diverse range of ways. Let’s take a closer look at each deal in turn.

LiveScore Bet Squads

Squads is a game which is completely free to play, so there’s no real excuse for not checking it out. You simply open up the game, get given five real-life players, and are financially rewarded for their performance in their next game.

£10 Free Acca Bet

This is LiveScore Bet’s version of the famous ‘free bet club’ offer type. It’s also one of the better examples you can find right now. In this case, you simply need to place two eligible £10 accas (full T&Cs apply). Do so, and you’ll get a £10 free bet, also to be used on accas.

Money Back as a Free Bet

This is one of three horse racing deals LiveScore Bet provides. In this case, you’ll get your money back – as a free bet – if your chosen Race Winner finishes second, third, or fourth in selected races. The maximum value of your free bet rebate is £10.

Extra Places

This is a common horse racing offer type, but is still extremely useful. With it, you get extra places in your Each Way wagers on selected races (usually at least six events per day). As always, this significantly increases your chances of getting a return.

Best Odds Guaranteed

This is the third and final horse racing offer on LiveScore Bet. As usual, it helps you get the best prices you possibly can. If the odds on your Race Winner pick improve before the off, you’ll automatically be given those superior odds instead. If your price remains superior, you simply keep it. Get more BOG offers here

Betting Markets and bet types

Technically, the selection of betting markets on LiveScore Bet isn’t the biggest you’ll find. In reality, however, there’s plenty here to keep you entertained for the long haul.

In total, we counted around 30 different options here, at the time of writing. Crucially, every major box is ticked, and there are plenty of less-heralded markets too. Basically, if you can think of a sport being played at a relatively-high level, it will almost certainly be covered by LiveScore Bet.

Here are some of the main bet types you’ll find on the biggest markets of all:

Betting Market Bet Types
Football
  • Outright Bets
  • Player Props
  • Team Props
  • Specials Bets
Horse Racing
  • Race Winner
  • Forecast
  • Tricast
  • Each Way
Tennis
  • Outright Bets
  • Match Winner
  • Correct Score
  • Handicap Bets
Cricket
  • Outright Bets
  • Player Props
  • First Wicket Method
  • Highest Runs Scorer
eSports
  • Match Winner
  • Over/Under Maps Won
  • Outright Bets
  • Player Props

Other sports

In addition to those headliners, there are well over 20 other markets you can check out. All of these can be wagered on either in-play or pre-match, and many also have outright markets. Not only that, but – as with the sports above – you’ll find a nice variety of actual bet types in most cases. That’s even true of less-heralded sports, like table tennis, Gaelic football, and handball.

Here are just a few of the other popular markets you can access here:

Betting Odds

Of course, the sheer number of sports or betting markets isn’t the only thing that counts on a sportsbook. The actual quality of the odds for those markets is also key. After all, if they’re prohibitively low, there will always be a cap on your potential profits.

We’re happy to say this needn’t be a concern on LiveScore Bet. The prices here aren’t the very best you’ll find. They’re definitely highly competitive though, and easily good enough to keep considering this bookie.

To arrive at this conclusion, we compared the prices on major LiveScore Bet betting markets to those being offered by big-time competitors. In the vast majority of cases, LiveScore Bet’s odds were comparable. In many cases, they were actually superior.

You’ll be particularly impressed with LiveScore Bet’s odds for live betting. These update extremely regularly, and provide a fair reflection of what’s going on at the time.

Finally, LiveScore Bet further impressed us here with its Price Boosts. These are applied to a variety of appealing markets, including football. They significantly improve the already-strong odds. In turn, your potential winnings get higher too.

Betting Features

Considering it’s not one of the biggest brands around, we were very impressed by the special features LiveScore Bet has put in place. Some of these simply help you enjoy yourself more, while others can make a genuine difference to your success. Below, we’ve looked at the key examples in both cases.

In-Play betting

For many punters, in-play betting has replaced the old pre-match variety. If you fall into this category, you’ll be well-served here.

Considering this brand’s history as a live scores provider, it should come as no surprise that its in-play betting tools are outstanding. The odds here update extremely regularly, keeping more-or-less up to date with the real-time action. The tools themselves are also highly responsive, so you can grab an opportunity as and when it arises. Finally, we were very impressed by the variety of in-play bet types on offer.

Cash Out Betting

Placing new wagers is only half the fun when it comes to live betting. Cashing out existing wagers can also be both useful and important, and LiveScore Bet also does brilliantly here.

Most importantly, you’ll find the cash out tool to also be very responsive. This is key, since you can bail on your wager exactly when you want to. The prices you’re offered also tend to be fair, and the tool isn’t generally subject to the annoying ‘black outs’ you’ll find on other brands.

Accumulator Betting

The acca is arguably the most famous bet type of all. If you’re partial to an accumulator, you’ll definitely be right at home with LiveScore Bet.

Placing an acca could hardly be easier here. Browsing all the upcoming markets is a cinch, and you can see various bet types for those games without needing to open a separate screen. Adding and removing selections is effortless, and – as noted earlier – there’s an acca-focused free bet club in place.

Bet Builder

LiveScore Bet makes it easy to not only place multi-game accumulators, but same-game accas too. This is thanks to one of its newest tools – the bet builder.

Open up the LiveScore Bet bet builder, and you’ll be shown all the eligible markets on one, handy screen. These will usually involve both straightforward bet types, and riskier player props. You can add and remove these at will, with your odds updating as you do so, with the whole thing being faultlessly easy to use.

Live Streaming

Live streaming is normally only available on the very biggest brands of all. We were both surprised and impressed, therefore, to see it on LiveScore Bet.

Streaming isn’t merely provided here, however. It actually includes some exceptionally good options. You can not just watch football, for example, but actually stream the action from top leagues around Europe, including the Bundesliga and Serie A. The horse racing streaming options are also strong, with racecourses all around the world being covered.

Responsible Betting Tools

Gamble responsibly’ isn’t simply a tagline. It’s actually crucial advice if you want to stay in the game for the long haul, rather than blowing up your account and losing money.

LiveScore Bet shows a clear commitment to responsible gambling. There are various tools in place to help you out. These include deposit limits, reality checks, and cool off periods, all of which are easy to impose. Plenty of links are also provided for helpful, third-party services.

LiveScore Bet Betting App

The days of being limited to using your desktop computer for placing sports bets are long gone. Nowadays, you can do so wherever and whenever you like, thanks to mobile betting apps.

LiveScore Bet has embraced mobile gambling with gusto. It provides downloadable apps for both iOS and Android users. Both of these can be acquired directly through the home page, or you can find them on the App Store and Google Play respectively.

Whichever operating system you use, you’ll find a fantastic app waiting for you. This contains all the same betting markets as the regular version, including both pre-match and in-play options. You can also manage your account, make deposits, contact customer support, and so on. Not only that, but all the same features have been ported over, including live streaming, the bet builder, and the free-to-play Squads game.

Finally, the user interface is absolutely excellent. This helps to make the app incredibly easy to use, from the very first time you do so. Text and numbers are clear and easy to read, and the menus are skilfully constructed. Pages also load quickly, and the live streaming and live betting tools remain highly responsive.

Customer Support

Use any sportsbook for long enough, and you’ll eventually require some help along the way. At LiveScore Bet, you’ll have no problem whatsoever in getting that assistance.

You can easily send an email any time you like, if your enquiry isn’t urgent. If it is, then you can simply use the live chat tool instead. This is accessible via an ever-present button in the bottom-left of your screen. During our testing we were connected to support staff quickly, and given quick, friendly, and useful help.

Special mention should also be made of the Help Centre, which is exceptionally good. There are hundreds of articles in place here, and these can be browsed by subject or using the handy search tool. The entries tend to be concise and well-written, quickly answering the most common queries you might have.

Deposit/Withdrawal Options

Generally speaking, we’ve been extremely positive so far throughout this LiveScore Bet review. Unfortunately, this is one of the few areas in which we were pretty disappointed.

You’ll only find three payment options in place on LiveScore Bet. Admittedly they’re probably the biggest three around, but most sites will still provide you with a lot more choice. Debit card is present, as you’d expect, and you can make bank transfers via Trustly. Apart from that though, your only other option is PayPal.

No fees are charged here, which is obviously great. The minimum and maximum amounts are also both fine, as are the processing times. If you don’t have – or don’t want to use – a debit card, Trustly account, or PayPal, however, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

Payment Method Minimum Deposit Minimum Withdrawal Processing Time
Debit Card £5 £10 2-3 hours
Trustly £10 £10 2-3 days
PayPal £10 £10 Instant

LiveScore Bet in the Media

As noted in our introduction, the LiveScore brand has been around for decades now. If you’ve followed live sports for a few years, you might already have known the name. In fact, some bookies used LiveScore’s data for their own live betting features.

It only made sense that LiveScore would open its own sportsbook at some point, and in 2020 that finally happened. Unsurprisingly though, LiveScore isn’t stopping there.

For starters, it’s now looking to expand into other markets, and further grow the brand. The Netherlands has been one country it recently opened up in, and LiveScore also looks like it’s making moves into Eastern Europe. It’s also looking to further expand its brand awareness, as shown by its partnership with none other than Cristiano Ronaldo.

In short, based on the stories you can see all across the media, this is an ambitious brand with a bright future ahead of it.

FAQ

The current LiveScore Bet welcome offer is a classic ‘Bet X, Get Y’ deal. In this case, you wager at least £10 and get £20 back in free bets.

Absolutely, and it’s available on both iOS and Android devices, from the App Store and Google Play respectively. The app is quick, user-friendly, and packed with useful features.

There is no LiveScore Bet bonus code available at the time of writing. There are still several solid ongoing promotions you can claim, however, including an acca-focused free bet club.

You can send an email to LiveScore Bet, or talk to an agent directly via live chat. The FAQ section is also absolutely fantastic, and will answer many of your questions immediately.
