While we may naturally tend to focus on British sportsbooks, it’s important to remember that online sports betting is a worldwide phenomenon. Brands can achieve incredible success in other parts of the world… without British bettors even hearing about them!
PariMatch is just such a brand. Originally launched in Ukraine, it has built up a huge user base across former Soviet countries like Russia, Belarus, Moldova, and Kazakhstan. Now, they’re finally making moves into Western Europe, with their British sportsbooks having recently launched.
With decades of experience and success already behind them, PariMatch simply must be held to a higher standard than your average new bookie. As to whether or not they can meet such standards… that’s exactly what we’re going to find out, in our comprehensive PariMatch review. En route, we’ll evaluate their promotions, markets, customer support, and every other important area besides. Let’s get started.
The PariMatch sign up offer certainly grabs your attention, with its offer of ‘£30 in bonuses when you bet £5’. There are certainly a few places you can get £30 in free bets for a £10 qualifying wager… but £5? That’s basically unheard-of right now.
It’s easy to make a welcome offer sound appealing, of course. But before getting carried away, it’s extremely important to delve into the practical details. To kick things off, let’s take a look at exactly how you go about activating this offer.
As you can see, this is a pretty darn straightforward welcome offer! Before gauging the promotion’s overall appeal, of course, you must still check out the terms and conditions which come with it. These are the most important ones:
At first glance, the PariMatch welcome offer – quite frankly – sounds too good to be true. There’s really nothing in the T’s & C’s to detract from either its appeal or value, though. The minimum odds for both the qualifying bet and free bets are fair, as is having a full week to use those free bets, and we don’t mind the bet type requirements (singles, in-play, and acca) for each free bet.
In all, therefore… this is simply an incredible deal! The value on offer – of betting only £5 and getting £30 in free bets in exchange – is exceptional. In fact, it’s no exaggeration to say that this is one of the best welcome offers on the market right now.
It’s fair to say we were impressed with PariMatch’s welcome offer, to say the least! Of course, even the best welcome offers will only last for a short period of time. A smart bookie will back these up with a nice range of ongoing promotions, to keep bettors returning time and again.
In PariMatch’s case, they don’t have the widest selection of ongoing promotions we’ve seen. The ones which are in place are solid, though, and – most importantly – all deliver genuine value. Here’s a quick rundown of what each one involves.
Horse racing betting is obviously fun, but it’s also filled with frustrations! One of the biggest of the bunch occurs when you’ve done your research, found a horse you like, placed your bet… and the horse never even gets out of the blocks.
On PariMatch, this is no longer an issue. If your runner simply refuses to begin the race, or generally loses all chance of winning the race from the very beginning, then PariMatch will refund your stake in full. Better yet, this smart and helpful promotion covers every single race in the UK and Ireland.
Here we have another highly helpful offer for horse racing bettors! Best Odds Guaranteed is a pretty common promotion type, of course, but it’s always welcome nonetheless.
Like other such deals, this one doesn’t simply lock you into the price you initially took on a runner. If the starting price on that horse is better than your original one, then you will automatically be given that price. If your original price is better, you keep it. And, best of all, this is all calculated automatically, with no further input from you required. As with ‘Run For Your Money’, this promotion covers all races across the UK and Ireland.
Just like Best Odds Guaranteed, Acca Insurance is another common offer type across modern sportsbooks. Frankly, we don’t really care though, because it happens to be one of the most useful ongoing promotions around too!
PariMatch’s Acca Insurance deal covers all football accumulator wagers with five selections or more, at combined odds of 4/1 or greater. Normally, of course, such a bet would only win if all of its individual selections won. With this Acca Insurance offer, however, if just one of those legs fails, then you’ll actually get your entire stake refunded.
PariMatch’s prices are fair by default, tending to be in line with – or even better than – those of the more established British sportsbooks. On certain markets, however, those prices get even better courtesy of Enhanced Prices.
Essentially, PariMatch artificially inflate these odds themselves in order to try and drive action on that market. The markets in question will often be multiples, however, which are inherently trickier to win than singles, so – even with the boosted prices – you’ll need to balance the risk and reward for yourself.
In today’s hyper-competitive sports betting scene, the standards have been set incredibly high in a few different key areas. One of the most important, by far, is the number of betting markets a bookie can offer. Not only should they allow bettors to wager on all the big hitters, but they must also provide a good range of other, slightly less-popular sports markets too.
We’re pleased to say that PariMatch tick both of those boxes, with a collection of markets which rivals that of most premium sportsbooks. Football is a clear focus for them, as it should be – it’s the biggest online betting market, after all – but they also do a great job of covering the second-most popular sport too: horse racing.
Elsewhere, they’ve managed to show plenty of love to other big markets too. British favourites such as golf, cricket, and rugby are all present and correct, as are the likes of darts, snooker, and table tennis. Boxing and MMA are both included, and the four major American leagues – the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL – are also in place. PariMatch even provide several virtual sports to bet on – including horse racing, basketball, and football – and a selection of eSports markets rounds out this offering nicely.
As mentioned, even though a modern sportsbook should provide for a diverse mix of betting interests, football really has to be the priority. This clearly has been the case on PariMatch, with their football section having the most markets for pre-match and in-play betting.
Both the breadth and depth of those markets are seriously impressive. Domestically, leagues like the Premier League, La Liga and Bundesliga, down through to lower league fare, are all included. Naturally the biggest continental contests – namely the Champions League and Europa League – are too, and PariMatch also let you bet on ongoing international competitions like the Nations League and Euro Qualifiers whenever possible.
As you’d expect, the highest volume of markets are available pre-match, with these being just some of the bet types you can use:
Admittedly, those bets are common to most sportsbooks. PariMatch provide something genuinely different with their match specials, though, which currently even include VAR-specific outcomes like a goal to be ruled offside.
Outright bets are one area in which PariMatch do admittedly falter. There are a mere handful on the Premier League, for example, with the likes of League Winner and To Be Relegated – which most sportsbooks large and small provide – oddly absent. That aside, you can bet on just about whatever football markets you please on PariMatch!
As noted earlier, PariMatch actually have two ongoing promotions specifically for horse racing, which shows their clear commitment to it. This is also displayed by their racing markets, which cover all UK & Irish races, plus those from the likes of the UAE and South Africa.
Same-day, next-day, and ante-post markets are all available here, and you can stick winner, place, and ‘betting without’ wagers down. In an intriguing twist, you can also bet on how many lengths you think a horse will win by, with your odds growing for the more lengths you add.
PariMatch doesn’t have the widest-ranging tennis sections we’ve seen, but everything you’re actually likely to bet on is still covered!
Obviously this includes the four slams, but both the men’s and women’s tours are included, as are challenge matches. You also have the choice between betting match-by-match, or placing outright wagers. Markets for the former include match winner, set betting, and handicaps, while – for the latter – you can bet on the overall winner of a tournament.
PariMatch’s range of other betting markets goes above and beyond what we’d expect from such a new sportsbook. In fact, we’d struggle to pick any holes in their offering whatsoever.
Just about every other major sport, in addition to those listed above, is available to bet on. From motorsports (including Formula 1 and MotoGP), to contact sports (like the UFC and boxing), all the major bases are covered here. Getting a respectable collection of virtual sports up-and-running already is also impressive, as is their commitment to eSports, with Dota2, LoL, CS:GO and more all included.
Live bets are arguably becoming just as important to bettors as pre-match ones, so it’s pleasing to see that PariMatch have also made this a clear focus.
As you’d expect, in-play markets are almost constantly available on the likes of football and tennis, but there are usually a few dozen opportunities to bet live on other sports too. Actual streaming is only available on horse racing, but PariMatch do a good job of keeping you up to date with the latest goings-on courtesy of live stats and a visualisation tool.
Elsewhere, live odds are updated regularly, in-play bets are processed quickly, and – as a nice bonus, you get the option to execute either partial or full cash outs.
In our introduction, we mentioned that PariMatch – with its extensive track record of success – must be held to higher standards than a regular new sportsbook. This is a perfect example of where that’s the case. While we may normally forgive a brand new bookie for not having a mobile app, in PariMatch’s case… this really should be a given.
We’re pleased to say that there is indeed an Android app in place already, and this can be downloaded directly from Google Play. While there aren’t enough downloads there to gauge the public’s level of satisfaction with the app, we found it to replicate the functionality of the desktop website nicely. All the most important features are carried over – including account management, and live betting – and the navigation is pleasingly intuitive too.
At the time of writing, there is not an iOS app available. We’d expect to see that corrected soon, but – in the meantime – iPhone users will be reliant on the mobile version of the site. Fortunately, this is also impressive, with little to actually differentiate it from the Android app. PariMatch make good use of sliding and collapsable menus to enable smooth navigation, and – once again – all the most important features are included.
As sports betting technology has evolved, so the expectations for bettors has risen. Nowadays, for many, the fundamentals of finding markets, placing bets, and so on, aren’t enough. Modern punters want more ways to place their wagers, more information to inform those bets, and – quite simply – as many features as possible!
PariMatch isn’t necessarily the most feature-packed sportsbook around, but there’s more than enough to keep you entertained for a very long time. For starters, live features like in-play betting and cash out aren’t merely provided, but are executed very well indeed. Pleasingly, in addition to a traditional full cash out, PariMatch also let you make a partial cash out on all bets with a stake of £1 or more.
Live streaming of horse races across the UK, Ireland, South Africa and the UAE is also included, although you will need to bet at least £1 on a race to watch it. Elsewhere, PariMatch also provide you with a Bet Builder. This is easy to access within an event’s markets, and makes it extremely easy to craft your same-game multiples.
While it might be new to the British market, PariMatch – as we’ve seen – already comes across as a premium bookie in many of the most important areas. Unfortunately, however, this trend comes to a crashing halt with regards to banking options.
Currently, you have a few choices for making payments on PariMatch: Visa, Mastercard and PayPal. No eWallets such as, Neteller, or Skrill are supported, and you can’t even make a bank transfer. This is highly unimpressive from a company as big as PariMatch, and we’d hope to see the options increase sooner rather than later.
That aside, the actual mechanics of making payments and withdrawals are fine. The minimum amount for both is £5, which is unusually low, and no transaction fees are charged. The processing time for withdrawals is also reasonable, at 2-5 working days.
There are, without doubt, certain fundamental boxes which every new sportsbook must tick. One of these is having a sign up process in place which is as quick, clear and straightforward as possible. After all, neither the bookie nor the bettor wants any delay in signing up for an account, and getting some bets down!
On PariMatch, the sign up process easily fulfils these requirements. It’s neatly split into four clear stages, and requires only a minute or so to complete.
You kick things off by heading to PariMatch.co.uk, and hitting the big, green ‘Sign Up’ button towards the top-right of your screen. This will open the first of those four stages – ‘Account’ – at which you’re asked to enter your email address and phone number, and create a password.
Once you’re done with that, press the small green arrow to progress to stage two – ‘Personal Details’. Unsurprisingly you must enter some personal details here, such as your date of birth and full name. Stage three – ‘Address’ – is pretty self-explanatory too, requiring you to enter… your home address! The fourth and final stage – ‘Security Details’ – is more straightforward than it sounds, effectively just asking you to agree to the website’s basic T’s & C’s.
Once you’ve completed those four stages, your account will be created. You’re now free to start fully exploring the platform and making deposits, with no further verification (such as an account activation email link) required.
The need to verify your ID is undoubtedly a little annoying. It’s also a necessary requirement, though, for a legitimate sportsbook to fulfil its legal requirements… so you don’t really have a choice!
With PariMatch, as with just about every bookie, you must verify your identity before withdrawing funds from your account. Doing so is easy enough, though, with these being the few steps you need to take:
And, in theory, that should be about it! PariMatch do clearly state, however, that – if necessary – they may request a selfie next to your photo ID, in order to confirm your identity. They also reserve the right to ask for further proof of ID, but this is standard practice for most sportsbooks, and shouldn’t actually cause any issues.
Those who overlook layouts when evaluating which bookie to sign up with do so at their peril! If you’re looking for a long term sportsbook, you simply must pick one with a clear, intuitive interface which will facilitate the easy browsing of markets, and placement of bets.
We’re pleased to say that PariMatch absolutely nail it here. For starters, their platform looks fantastic. It’s sleek, modern, and is built around a cool black, white and yellow colour scheme.
There’s plenty of substance to back up this style too. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the arrangement of the layout, and this has resulted in an interface which is highly intuitive from the beginning. Almost every important section is easily-accessible via a menu to the left, including Sport A-Z, My Account, Live Chat, and the Help Centre.
Making a selection from the Sport A-Z menu will open the available markets in the main section of the screen. From there, you can either browse upcoming and live matchups, or delve deeper into the specific markets for each of them. Finally, the placement of bets – both pre-match and in-play – is as straightforward as you’d expect from a modern-day bookie.
It goes without saying that – if you have a problem when using a sportsbook – you should be able to access quick and helpful support. PariMatch ensure this is the case, providing multiple ways to get in touch 24/7. Most importantly these do include live chat, but email, Twitter, and Facebook are alternative contact methods, or you can request a call back on your phone.
Elsewhere, we were highly impressed by PariMatch’s Help Centre. It has a nice, wide range of entries covering all the most important topics, and even caters to rookie punters with helpful explanations of key terminology and other betting basics.
While new to the British market, PariMatch actually have a track record stretching all the way back to 1994, when they were originally founded in Ukraine. They made the crucial move into Russia in 1998, and – thereafter – spread across Eastern Europe. PariMatch were also early adopters of digital betting technology, launching their first online sportsbook in 2000.
In 2017 PariMatch moved their headquarters to Cyprus, and have since made an effort to raise brand awareness in Western Europe. This has included sponsorships with Conor McGregor, and football clubs like Everton and Juventus. They have also secured licenses with the gambling commissions of the UK and Cyprus, among others.
Way back in our introduction, we noted how PariMatch – due to the sheer size of their company, and the length of their track record – should be judged differently to a regular new bookie. Well, we’re pleased to say that – even judging by these higher standards – we found PariMatch to be extremely impressive.
Quite simply, this is as polished and professional as new sportsbooks get. From the layout, to the range of betting markets, to the customer service, the entire platform is infused with quality. Overall, it already has the feel of a premium sportsbook.
Like just about every sportsbook, there are still areas for improvement. We found the ongoing promotions which are in place impressive, for example, but would prefer to see a few more added to the selection. Elsewhere, while the Android app is solid, we’re a little confused as to why an iOS app wasn’t also available at launch. Finally, the banking options simply must be improved.
In all, though, we found PariMatch’s new British sportsbook to be excellent. Even in its current early state, we have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it, to both new and experienced bettors alike. In fact, with a welcome offer as good as PariMatch’s, there’s no reason not to stick some money in an account, place a £5 qualifying bet, and take your three £10 free bets out for a spin!
